The SCCL are pleased to announce that the winner of the "June Lords Cricket SCCL Performance of the month" is Chris Irving of Condover CC.

Condover 2nd XI were playing Ludlow 3rd XI in Division 7 of the SCCL on Saturday the 13th of June at home. Condover won the toss and elected to field, Ludlow 3rd XI were going pretty well at 79/2, however the introduction of Chris was quite staggering. Within 4 overs of him bowling, Ludlow were reduced to 89 all out! Chris took 7 of the 8 wickets that remained, with a hat-trick in one over, followed by another hat-trick in the next over! Quite amazing!!
Chris finished with figures of 4 overs, 1 maiden, 6 runs and 7 wickets!!

Awards Sub Committee Chairman Matt Porter stated, "we had so many good performances in June, however, what Chris achieved was simply unprecedented! I have been involved with league cricket in Shropshire for the last 20 years and I have never heard of anyone else achieving 2 hat tricks in one innings! The awards sub-committee were unanimous in naming Chris as the performer of the month!"
