The SCCL are pleased to announce that the winner for the April/May Lords Cricket SCCL Performance of the month has been chosen!
The winner for April/May is Henry Walker of Oswestry CC.
Oswestry won the toss and elected to bat, where they scored an impressive 298/7 from their 50 overs, Henry scored 48 runs from 91 balls at the top of the order. However, it was his bowling that really shone, where he took an incredible 8 wickets for 12 runs to help his side win by 238 runs!

Awards Sub Committee Chairman, Matt Porter stated, "we had so many good performances the months of April and May, however, Henry was top of the bowling performances! With an 8fer being so rare, and a good performance with the bat, we voted for him to receive the award".
The SCCL Sub Committee have brought back trophies for the performances of the month and will be presenting Henry with his trophy over the next few weeks.
Their will be awards June, July, August and September!
