Premier Division Team of the Year 2025

Qualification a minimum of 11 games
A very difficult task this year in selecting an 11, with many of the batting stars of this season also offering a lot with the ball. Any player subject to disciplinary action was excluded from consideration as per league executive. Only 1 x overseas player is considered for selection.
1 - Harry Chandler (wk) Wem CC
627 runs at 39 earned him a Shropshire call up where he had a superb run in the 3 day games. Wicket keeping was outstanding with 32 victims, 7 clear of his nearest rival
2 - Dan Vaughan (c) Wellington CC
713 runs at 34 with 2 centuries, he was always a calming presence at the top of the order and captained his side to a comfortable title win.
3 - Saleh Ahmed Shelton CC
691 runs at 43 with 2 centuries represented a fine 2nd season for Ahmed, who was a key reason for Shelton just keeping their heads above a relegation battle
4 - Kuldeep Devatwal (os) Allscott Heath CC
A 2nd outstanding all round season for one of, if not the best pro we have ever seen in the league. 1181 runs at 74 with 6 centuries all in games they won as well as 34 wickets at 16

6 - Jason Summers Allscott Heath CC
593 uns at 42 as well as 39 wickets at 14. Another fantastic season for the senior member of his club side, and an automatic pick for this one, as his runs and wickets were generally crucial.
7 - Sunny Singh St Georges CC
48 wickets at season low of 13, the former Warwickshire player also weighed in with over 500 runs to justify the pre-season hype.
8 - Alex Ollerenshaw Wem CC
Led his side's attack with 41 wickets at 15 as well as a very low economy rate, the experienced pace bowler fights off competition for a place in the side.
9 - Joe Williams Ludlow CC
53 wickets at 14, the left arm spinner is brilliant at closing out innings and makes the team yet again.
10 - Simon Jones Shelton CC
Also 53 wickets at 16, another superb season for the medium pace left armer who shows no signs of diminishing powers.
11 - Alex Heath Whitchurch CC
