The SCCL Awards Sub Committee have met to discuss the Mansfield Sports Group SCCL player of the month for June!
This month’s winner is Alex Heath of Whitchurch CC 1st XI!
During the Premier Division match between Whitchurch and St Georges CC 1st XI on the 21st of June, Alex took an impressive 7 for 26 from 7 overs, including a Hat Trick!!!

Other nominees were
- Andrew Pynegar of St Georges CC 3rd XI, who scored 194* against Ellesmere CC 2nd XI in Division 6
- Alex Riley of Shifnal CC 2nd XI, who took 7/19 from 8 overs against Wellington CC 2nd XI in Division 1
Both were considered, but the 7 for with a hat trick tipped the vote!
