The SCCL Awards Sub Committee have met to discuss the Mansfield Sports Group SCCL player of the month for August/September
This month’s winner is Johnathon Davies of Newtown CC 2nd XI.
During the Division 4 match between Newtown CC 2nd XI and Bomere Heath CC 2nd XI on the 6th of September, Johnathon took an impressive 8/20 to help his side claim a huge 185 run win!

Other nominees were
- Harjot Singh of Wellington CC 5th XI who scored 191 from 116 balls in Sunday Division 1
- Craig Pearce of Coton Hall CC 1st XI who took 8/35 in Division 6
Both were considered, but Johnathon won the vote of the sub committee
