Further to my email below (scroll down) I am now reminding you about the Pre-Season Captains Meeting which is being held at the Harlescott Social Club, Roseway, Shrewsbury,SY14LP, on Tuesday 16th April 2024 @ 7.30pm.
Parking is limited at the social club so car sharing, where possible, is advisable.However, we have agreed with Wickes to use their car park on Whitchurch Road (SY14EN), you can then walk a very short distance along the footpath on the opposite side of the road (between Nos 178 & 180 Whitchurch Road) directly to the Harlescott Social Club.
Please do not park on the road outside the club.
Please note that failure to send a club representative to this meeting will result in a 10 point penalty for all teams from your club.
As previously advised we will be holding an EGM at the Captains Meeting to approve a minor addition to our Constitution, which sets out the procedure for clubs to formally raise matters at an AGM, the details of which are set out below as an addition to Section 8 of our Constitution.:-
Any member Club wishing to make a proposal for discussion at the AGM must submit it in writing to the League Secretary at least fourteen days before the date thereof.
In addition I attach a copy of the pre-season declaration for 2024, which must be signed & returned to me no later than 10pm on Friday 26th April 2024 as clubs will accrue no points until a signed Declaration has been received by SCCL.

Captains Meetings
We have decided that for 2024, the captains meeting will take place at Harlescott Social Club on
Tuesday 16/04/24 from 7.30pm
We have several items to discuss
-Rule Changes
-EGM for a change to the constitution
-Registration details
-KO draw
AGM
We are planning to hold the AGM on
Tuesday 26/11/24 from 7.30pm - Also at Harlescott Social Club, with trophy presentations before hand, and like with the 2023 meeting, secretaries will be emailed 3 weeks before the confirmed date with an invite to attend the AGM.
