2019 Premier and Division 1 Structure

The SCCL Structure and Membership Sub Committee met on Tuesday 9th of October to discuss the structure for the 2019 season in the Premier and Division 1. 

The decisions that were made by the Sub Committee were then ratified at the SCCL Management Committee.

Premier Division 2019

Wellington 1st XI (Relegated from BDPCL Division 1)
Newport 1st XI (Relegated from BDPCL Division 3)

Division 1 2019

Frankton 1st XI (Relegated from SCCL Premier Division)

The rest of the divisions (Saturday 2-8 and Sunday 1-2) will be finalised in early November after our cut-off date of 31/10 for clubs to confirm their entries for 2019, the structure for the remaining divisions will be announced at the AGM on Monday 26th of Novemeber, 7pm at St Georges CC.

Also, the SCCL Committee have agreed Clubmark is mandatory for clubs in the top three divisions of SCCL, BUT with a moratorium for 2019 ONLY for any team in that division that isn’t accredited at the start of the season. 

From 2020 onwards, all teams in the top three divisions of SCCL will have to carry Clubmark by 31st October of the previous year – this will apply to all clubs being promoted up from Division 3 as well.
