Ludlow Cricket Club are busy getting all lots ready for their 2017 Promise Auction.

Club Vice Chairman, Steve Small, is busy getting things ready, he says "we have been overwhelmed by the support of local businesses in the town and the surrounding area, the amount of lots this year will provide people with alot of choice for their bids".

Steve went on to say "The Promise Auction is an essential way of raising funds for the club, which will be re-invested in club facilities and junior cricket development in the south of the county"

The day coincides with the club's Presidents day, where sponsors and lifelong members of the club will be invited to the club to watch the 1st XI and 3rd XI, who are both in action against Whitchurch CC 1st XI and Iscoyd and Fenns Bank CC 1st XI respectively.

The bar is open from 12pm, the hammer will start going down from 8pm, however people are encouraged to arrive at 7pm and see the lots! You never know the 4 teams may all still be playing! Ludlow CC will also be putting on a pig roast for the evening to satisfy those busy bidders in the auction!
